Characteristics

Tinplate

In addition to its elegant shining surface, tin plates possess superb corrosion resistance,
formability, weldability, and printability. Such unique properties allow the tin plates to serve a
broad range of applications including beverage cans, food cans, oil cans, paint cans, aerosol
cans, bottle caps, cable electronic parts

Tin Free Steel

Lower in price than tin plates, tin free steel boasts superior lacquer and paint adhesion and
strong resistance against corrosion. Tin Free Steel is used in the production of cans, containers,
electric equipments furniture, home applications and cables

Dimensions

Thickness : 0.15 – 0.60mm
Width : 600-1220mm

Materials

MR Type : Contains few residual minor constituents and has good corrosion resistance so that it is widely used
for such applications as containers.
L Type : Contains particularly few residual minor constituents such as Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, so that it is suitable for the
materials of containers required for improved corrosion resistance.
D Type : Aluminum killed steel, so that it is suitable for the
applications which bear deep drawing or other working
that are liable to produce Luder's lines pattern.

Tin Coating Weight(g/m2)

SPTE : equally coated or differently coated
SPTH : equaliy coated
